About me
Alisha Harper is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Bellarmine University. She received her B.A. from Shepherd University, her J.D. from the University of Louisville, and a LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University. Prior to joining the Bellarmine faculty, Alisha worked for 8 years as a Senior Attorney for the IRS Office of Chief Council and a Special Assistant Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office. During her time at Bellarmine, she has served as the Director for the Master’s of Taxation program and Chair for both the Accounting and Business Administration Departments. Her research interests include practical tax & investment strategies and practical pedagogies for the classroom.
