We recognize that many institutions have restricted travel, so we have reorganized Convergence into an extended one-day conference!  All the conference activities you’ve come to expect (keynote, outstanding breakout sessions, networking, breakfast and lunch) will take place on Thursday, November 7th. Because we save money by having a one day conference, we are reducing the registration to $175. If you already registered at the $200 rate, you will receive a refund of $25.

Remember, presenters still only pay $150 and there are still a few spots available, so get your proposals in!

Convergence is the single event that brings together professionals in information technology, academic libraries, online learning, and instructional design from all the public and private colleges and universities in Kentucky and the surrounding states. Sponsored by Kentucky post-secondary institutions and private sector partners, Kentucky Convergence is a conference that emphasizes innovations and best practices in the fastest-growing areas of higher education.

***CALL FOR PROPOSALS***
The program committee invites proposals that will engage, educate, and inspire those in attendance. Topics may fall under the categories of technology, pedagogy, process and policy, and design.
This year, we are offering three types of sessions:

• Presentation sessions are 45-minute breakout sessions based on a formal presentation.
• Birds-of-a-Feather sessions are 45-minute facilitated discussions around a topic, and do not require a formal presentation.

Presenters and attendees at the Kentucky Convergence Conference will include leaders, innovators, managers, and decision-makers from the information technology, academic libraries, online learning, and instructional design units of colleges and universities from Kentucky and surrounding states.
